Society’s achievements in getting investors’ grievances resolved. Some of the cases are given below:-

Subject : Non-credit of shares in her D-mat account
Remarks : Because of the intervention of the society, the complaint was resolved and the shares of Ms. Dutta have been credited to her D-mat account.

Subject : Transfer of account to his mother’s name after the death of his father without succession certificate which is a long, costly and very cumbersome process.
Remarks : The account has been transferred at our request.

Subject : Regarding allotment of RPL
Remarks : Karvy agreed to compensate the loss.

Sub: Complaint against HDFC Bank depository.
Remarks: HDFC bank responded the complaint of Mr. Sahni, which was forwarded by the Society, saying that there is an overdue amount of Rs.1194.50 against the said d-mat account, which can be paid either through cheque, cash or by sending the details of another account to be linked with the said d-mat account.

Sub: Complaint against Standard Chartered Bank.
Remarks: The Standard chartered Bank immediately agreed to revert back the charges & wrote the society to close the matter in the books.

Sub: Non-receipt of payments since April, 2006.

Remarks: The case has been resolved by NAM securities Ltd and payments made to Mr. Madhur Kumar Gupta.

Sub: Disconnection of Tata Indicom phone and refund of security money
Sub: Tata Indicom was disconnected the landline phone and refunded the security money of Mr. Pankaj Sachdeva.

Name: Rahul Venkatesh Prasad
Sub: British Airways authorities changed the schedule of the flight without intimation to the passengers.
Sub: British Airways has imbursed the amount spent in various heads.

Name: Dr. Arun Lavania
Sub: Rs.30/- has been added in the bill of Dr. Lavania by Airtel as Helo Tune charge without consent.
Sub: The amount charged by Airtel has been waived after the Society took up the case with the company.

Sub: Neither letter for allotment of shares has been received nor refund order by Sharepro Service (India) Pvt. Ltd.
Sub: The Refund order for Rs.5,500/-has been sent vide DD No. 620342 dt 6.12.2006 of HDFC Bank.
